The Clubhouse Bar & Bistro - West Beach

We had some time before a Sunday afternoon flight and decided to go to The Clubhouse. It was a great place to relax and enjoy a drink, some conversation and some oysters. Only a five minute trip to the airport and a great view. Although we only sampled the oysters, they were fresh and beautifully presented. The drinks list, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic was quite good and everything was reasonably priced. It is a club by the beach, so plastic tables, chairs etc but very comfortable.

Had breakfast here with my daughter and brother, My daughter had the bacon and eggs. My brother and myself had the lazy breakfast which consists of Hahndorf smoked speck, smoky chorizo, rosemary potatoes, roasted cherry tomatoes, baked Swiss brown mushrooms and free range eggs all in a terracotta frypan, cooked in the wood oven, topped with fresh herbs, cracked black pepper and sour dough toast. The breakfast was very tasty and filling. The staff are friendly and the prices reasonable. There is outdoor seating which looks out over the water.

Went to have a look and a couple of beers and found great wood fired pizzas . Price was good staff very helpful and good cool beer after a long day

The restaurant offers a great view of the beach and breakwall, just a short walk from the sand. The food is delicious.

My family and I went to the Wednesday "$12 schnitzel night" at this restaurant. The portions were generous and it was a great deal for the price. The staff were very friendly and the bistro had a great view of the ocean. I highly recommend this place for a delicious and satisfying meal that won't break the bank.
