Description

Mis Suenos offers a mixed dining experience characterized by decent food and vibrant decor, complemented by favorable Latin music. While many patrons appreciate the quality of the meals, inconsistencies in service and food presentation have been notable issues. Instances of inadequate customer service, such as dismissive staff and lack of attentiveness, have soured the experiences of some visitors. Additionally, the absence of outdoor seating and slow service during busy hours have contributed to dissatisfaction. Nevertheless, it remains a place where some guests enjoy a good meal amidst a lively ambiance.

On the plus side it's cute inside. The restaurant is one main room with a small bar and a decent amount of seating. The food is not what I would expect from a Mexican restaurant. The burrito plate consists of one flour tortilla, meat (heavily salted steak)and melted cheese. That's it. It's folded over in half and that is it. The rice on the same plate was dry and the beans are your basic run of the mill. They brought out complimentary chips and salsa but the chips were stale and the salsa was a sweet jar variety.

Best tamales in town, slow Shredded pork!Every time I order tacos, they add cebolla. Even when I say no onions (I just need to say NO CEBOLLA, by default to EVERY restaurant.)They do not have a Rojo salsa for enchiladas, when every other authentic Mex Rest has it.Their salsa is lighter bodied, heavy tomato flavor, served with extra thick chips. I 'd prefer thinner chips.

The restaurant was quite busy when I arrived around 8 PM on Friday night. We waited about ten minutes for a table for two. The seating was a bit cramped, and I found that my chair got bumped every time someone walked by. However, the food was good overall. The beans and rice were a bit bland, but the rest of the dinner was well-prepared. The total came to around $65 for two people. I would give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

I visited the restaurant some time ago to inform them that my girlfriend, who had worked there for a while, had passed away. The bartender, an older gentleman, dismissed me, insisting that no one by that name had ever worked there and seemed completely uninterested. His lack of empathy really affected me. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this place again.

My wife and I stopped iinto this place for lunch. We didnt even make it pass the chips and salsa. Her margarita tasted like bleach water and my mojito had brown mint leaves in it. This was one of the worse dinning experiences we have ever had. I wish I could give them half stars. The only positive was the waitress was very good.
