What User doesn't like about Krispy Kreme:
I went to the drive-through at the restaurant but was disappointed to see that the menu board was missing a panel, so I couldn't see which types of donuts were available. I tried to ask for donuts at the speaker but the coworker couldn't understand me. Frustrated, I drove away and went to Dunkin' Donuts across the highway where they were able to take my order. I used to love Krispy Kreme and their donuts, especially when they were fresh. However, my recent experiences at this location have been disappointing. The lobby was closed despite the sign saying dine-in was available. The donuts were smaller than usual, with some being noticeably smaller for no apparent reason. The four employees working were on their phones at the register, and when I asked about the closed lobby, they seemed uninterested. Although I still prefer Krispy Kreme over Dunkin', they have definitely gone downhill. Why was my original glazed donut half the size of the others, and when did a half dozen small donuts cost $10?
I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could. The workers were rude and unprofessional, constantly asking me to repeat my order multiple times. They seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than serving me. The person at the window took my card roughly and handed it back without a second glance. My donuts were handed to me without any sense of professionalism or basic manners. I highly doubt the validity of any positive reviews for this place, as there are too many negative experiences shared by different customers. Service here is consistently poor, with little regard for customer satisfaction.
The order was correct, but the price has gone up and the size of each donut was cut in half. They seemed more like something for elves. Wishing you happy holidays.
We were really disappointed when we purchased 24 donuts for $75.00, only to receive the wrong ones. We are giving 2 stars because we did appreciate receiving the original ones that we ordered. Please make sure to double check orders before sending them out.
