The food was amazing... read more My husband and I came up here to the state lake to fish and was told to stop and try this place. The owner was at the door welcoming us in. The food was amazing. We got the sampler plate. The tenderloin with the dump sauce was our favorite. The service was great. He even took us on a tour of the pit. Great atmosphere and we'll definitely be coming back.

Beans and po... read more Went in to get a sampler plate to go. There was a combination of ribs, sausage, pulled pork, and pork loin. Everything was great and good portions. Beans and potato salad were also excellent. Try their homemade vinegar sauce. The sauce is a little sweet alittle tart. It tasted good with the meat, enhanced but not over powered. Staff is very friendly with knowledge of the area. Very good experience.
