Have eaten their pizza for over 30 years but haven't been to Steph's in a long while. It wasn't quite as crazy tonight and parking was easy. Our pizza (mozz only) was hot and ready to go when we arrived to pick up. The pizzas had plenty of toppings and cheese. The salad filled the box and was very fresh. We will keep Steph's in mind the next time we want a STL style pizza. View all feedback.
What Stormy Wiget doesn't like about Stefanina's Pizzeria:
A few waitresses were cranky and the food was ok, nothing special. Seating was similar to a fast food style layout and furniture, not what I expect from a place wanting to be a pricey Italian restaurant. edit: Clearly the cranky attitude stems from the owner, given the response of my review. Food was very good. Waitress was very polite and friendly. She was always getting thing's we needed. Kept drinks filled. Parking: Parking lot was clean an neat. Didn't have to park that far from the door ?..
Food's great, front staff and kitchen staff are nice, overall great experiences every time.
Great friendly staff! Solid tap list! The worst or 2nd worst pizza in my life (this or Aramark public school pizza ! I've had the misfortune to have this pizza more than 12 times. My FIL loves the place, but he also orders his steaks well done with A1 sauce, prefers kraft cheese (not considered cheese in the EU to real cheddar, and breyers (not considered ice cream by the FDA to Haagan dahz. After the fifth time he ordered it, my wife and I Started eating beforehand when he invited us because it's so bad. We throw away leftovers that are kindly foisted upon us. Tasteless sauce, low quality cheese, paper thin crust without taste nor crunch (it's like a bad trisket cracker , and okay pepperoni. I will give them the fact that the ingredients aren't ALL low quality (the onions, peppers, pineapples, and pepperoni aren't bad, but everything else is , but there's no reason this pizza should be so bad for so much money. Somehow, a basic large pizza with pepperoni, onions, and mushrooms is $23 in a very low cost of living area. If they were the quality of a bad average pizzeria like IMO's, I could understand, but they aren't even at that level. On the elpres scale, it's a solid 2.5 10.
