I assumed that this area of Suisse w... read more We went to a couple of other restaurants in wengen, and while the food was good everywhere else, the wines were just "meh". I assumed that this area of Suisse was simply more of a beer region. Wrong! Hotel Caprice offers a prix fixe menu, and we had ours with a 3 flight wine pairing for each course, the wines were very good, easily the best we had in Suisse. The service was impeccable - I appreciated that they paid attention to the details, like always serving and clearing from the right side, and serving the ladies first. The food was outstanding, and the presentation was the best we had while in Wengen. Dinner is not cheap - it was $58, or $84 with the wine pairings - but if you're looking for a special evening, this is Tye palace to go in Wengen. Oh, and the view of the mountains is probably the most spectacular view you'll EVER experience while dining. If the weather is right, ask for a table on the terrace.....

Everyone was spotless, quiet for the most part, the wait staff was attentive and helpful. The chef really knows how to cook delicious attractive meals. Everything was done first class. Highly recommended.
