What JewelCarter doesn't like about The Thai House:
I am sorry, but they do not allow substitutions for fish sauce at this restaurant. You will only have the option to choose from the vegetarian dishes with modifications. View all feedback.
The food was amazing (probably the best phase Thai that I've had, and the curry was also delicious). The service was really slow considering that there was us and maybe 3 other tables, and the staff weren't very friendly. But I'd come back for the food anytime!

I inquired about their curries, but unfortunately they all contained fish paste and could not be altered. The waiter suggested his favorite dish, the Thai basil with tofu, which turned out to be delicious. The tofu was perfectly cooked and the sauce was fantastic. The best part was that the waiter made sure everything I ordered was vegan and didn't hesitate to check with the kitchen. It was very reassuring. I would definitely recommend this place!
We began our meal with the fresh rolls, which are salad rolls that do not contain any protein. We were informed that the peanut sauce contained fish sauce, which was disappointing, so we opted for hoisin sauce instead. Our order included a tofu vegetable dish and an eggplant dish, both of which were delicious. The server mentioned that curries were available, but we had read in a previous review that they may contain fish sauce, so it's best to double-check with the staff. We were happy to find that the brown rice was perfectly cooked, with a soft and chewy texture. A great dining experience overall!

I discovered this restaurant after searching on Google for vegan-friendly options. It was the only place that came up. I went with a colleague on my second night in town and we started with drinks and fresh rolls. Although their curries all contain fish paste and couldn't be modified, the waiter suggested their favorite dish, the Thai basil. I ordered it with tofu and it was delicious! The tofu was perfectly cooked and the sauce was tasty. The best part was that the waiter made sure everything I ordered was vegan and was willing to double-check with the kitchen. I would definitely recommend this place!
