What an amazing venue, fantastic views over the greens and the children's playground not to mention the mini golf. The staff are attentive and friendly, the menu is modern, inviting and well-priced. We ordered the Lamb Gnocchi and Beetroot risotto both were full of flavor and a great serving. we finished with the White chocolate meringue and the Hazelnut chocolate cake and again very nice. All in couldn't fault the meal, the staff or the night. Would highly recommend.
I play golf at Wembley golf course regularly. I've dined casually and in restaurant a few times. A pleasant outlook over the the 9th hole from the restaurant (for lunch) . From a dining point of view, it depends on what dishes you order, some are good and others not so (hence maybe a few inconsistent reviews). Handcut chips and chicken wings are great for casual snacks , their pizzas not my favourite . Steak and Gnocchi Ok . Possibly could drop some of the other dishes from menu. I like the atmosphere of the place, just needs a bit of fine tuning .
Our party of 5 adults and 2 children had lunch there. The food as described on the menu sounded great. When the food arrived it looked good but when we ate it it was very disappointing. I had the roasted chicken breast with zucchini and asparagus with a corn sauce. It was absolutely tasteless. Two of our party had the pork loin with the Fennel Salad. They both said the pork was touch and tasteless. The cracking seemed as if it had been microwaved and they both said they couldn't taste the Fennel in the salad. Someone else had the duck comfit. The comment was that it was very dry and tasteless. All in all we were very disappointed as the venue looked great and the food sounded good. Our waitress also was in La La land. We definitely won't be back.
Great place! Fresh produce Extensive menu Breakfast was amazing overlooking Perth's best kept secret!
I went to 300 Acres on a Friday night recently with our Social Club for a Xmas in July function. The service from the team there was excellent, they were very attentive to say the least. We had a three course menu with a choice of entrée. The food was good; the turkey was nice and moist, which isn't always the case in some places. There was a wonderful choice of sweets to finish off too.The atmosphere in the place was good too; plenty of people enjoying Xmas in July. Didn't get a chance to appreciate the view at night, but I know from past experience how good it is.Certainly can recommend.
