What Paul R doesn't like about The Rookery Cafe:
A proper old-time greasy spoon in the same vein as The Silver Ball on the A10 near Royston. We only stopped for a coffee and at 90p for an instant coffee, you really can't complain too much. It was served in good time with a minimal delay. The table was clean and tidy and the floor swept. View all feedback.
Unreal helping of well priced, beautiful cooked food

Comes over as a bit of a truckers stop. Really enjoyed my breakfast here, plenty of parking. I would say suitable for workers or families.
The bacon, sausage, and egg sandwich was so soggy that it was falling apart as I tried to eat it. Additionally, the bacon was way overcooked.
