sat with friends, sat in the back dining room so far from the bar. we asked for the music to turn, as it was a little loud what the manager did right away. friendly staff, low level of background noise, so we were able to dinate and chat in comfort. good selection of food, well cooked. can recommend the tiramisu as a real joy instead of a deconstructed ' that we had somewhere else. What User doesn't like about The North Star:
Unfortunately there was not enough staff to cover the amount of customers, therefore queueing 10 to 15 minutes to get a drink, food also 35 minutes late, the staff that were there did very well. Gents toilet was flooded all night, nobody attempted to clean it, but,we made the best of it entertained by the Soul Man who was brilliant as always. View all feedback.
Kruste on sandwich hard left went on a wake for funeral
Very disappointing. before, Wegave has always enjoyed meals here, but the quality of the food has decreased. be not back.
It's a nice pub to sit outside in good weather. well spaced tables with water for dogs. it only looks over the road, but it is rarely a busy road. bier is mcmullen’s (not my favorite,) but it is well maintained. the personal is always welcoming and polite.
Took family out for birthday lunch and drinks food was absolutely amazing all had something different staff helpful friendly great atmosphere
