Muri Indian - Welwyn Hatfield

The restaurant is simply decorated with an unusual menu that includes venison, buffalo, and monkfish. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch and the dishes are deliciously cooked and nicely presented. It offers good value for the money and the service is unhurried.

Ordered food at 6pm to be delivered at 7pm (1 hours notice) Food arrived at 7.30pm and was cold and sweaty, when I called and asked where our food was I was met with an attitude and told “they were just running late” no apology. Have ordered food a few times and have noticed a decline. Also, you cannot pay by card online (even when you choose this option) and to add insult to injury the delivery driver had about £3 worth of change he was scratching around in his pockets for, when we were owed £5. Will be looking for a new place to order our curries, from now on.

Ordered a takeaway and have used them before food wasn’t ready on the time but it was another 40 mins when I said I didn’t want it they said they couldn’t credit me unless I drove back with the card , I understand a online glitch but giving the customer something for the nightmare takeaway would have got them £500 a year instead of nothing

After finding the menu at our hotel to be fairly boring, we decided to venture a few miles away via Uber to a restaurant we had never heard of. We were pleasantly surprised! Despite it being a quiet evening, the food at Muri was exceptional. As seasoned Indian food enthusiasts and home cooks ourselves, we could tell that the restaurant uses high-quality ingredients in their dishes. Not only was the food delicious, but it was also excellent value. We highly recommend giving Muri a try - you won't be disappointed!

Really pleased this restaurant was chosen for our work meal. Food was delicious and not too heavy! Service was great. Would 100% return.
