This place is always busy snd it’s because the staff are nice and the service good. The food is pretty good too. Lots of OAPs meet up here too so it can look very grey some days. View all feedback.
What supersupergirl doesn't like about Muffin Break:
I recently visited a different branch of the Australian chain Muffin Break in the UK. Please, the management of Muffin Break, I urge you to encourage your younger staff members to smile and be courteous to customers. After witnessing two people in front of me being served with the same unenthusiastic attitude that the Muffin Break girls provide, I was tempted to leave and go to Starbucks, where the staff are cheerful and friendly. If it weren't for the delicious cakes, I would avoid this place altogether. On a positive note, the coffee is nice, and the apple cakes and other treats are always moist and seem fresh if you ask for ones at the front of the tray. Manager, please work on improving the approach of your staff!

When I showed a picture of the wraps to the staff, they seemed confused and only offered me the Chicken Tikka Yorkshire Pudding instead. They didn't mention that the wraps were sold out. I ended up getting the Chicken Tikka Yorkshire Pudding and the Christmas panini with turkey stuffing. The chicken tikka pudding was a unique concept, but the texture of the Yorkshire pudding was not quite right on one side. The filling was made with quinoa and green peppers, which was a bit unusual. The Christmas turkey panini was a better choice overall.
I went to this restaurant with my family. They serve good tea and coffee, as well as gluten-free cakes. However, I noticed that many customers were not observing social distancing due to the crowded indoor space. The tables should have been spread out more. Most of the serving staff were wearing masks, but when I peeked into the kitchen, I saw that some had their masks slipped under their chin, which was not very reassuring. I'm not sure if I would return to this restaurant under these circumstances.
We enjoyed M.B. at Bishop Stortford until it closed down, so we thought we would give this branch a try.The coffees were fine but the sausage roll was dreadful, the Tuna sandwich cold and not very tasty and the toasted sandwich poor. Although it's nicely appointed in a fairly convenient location next to M&S, it was not cheap and I now understand why it was quiet even at lunchtime,If it doesn't improve it will surely go the same way as B.S. We won't be going again
Very disappointing experience. It was my fathers birthday and I decided to take him and the rest of the family out. The two indian ladies are really arrogant. They kept talking in their own language throughout the whole service, really unprofessional. I was given a piece of cake that was already 3/4 days in the fridge and was refused to swap for another one. My brothers toastie was burnt as they forgot to put the timer on. Although the coffee was nice, the customer service is really bad. I would not recommend.
