Fu Hao - Welwyn Hatfield

After reading the varied reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided to give this restaurant a try and we're glad we did. We opted for the set menu which offered great value and variety. The wine list was reasonably priced with minimal markup. The service was satisfactory. I would recommend dining at this restaurant.

Nice food. Usually quite quick in arriving when ordering take away. Plain Chow Mein is nicest in area, IMHO.

Won’t bother again, really expensive for what were effectively childrens portions. Chow Mein was vermicelli noodles and the prawn crackers were missing. Sesame prawn toast and chicken wings were bizarre tasting, really sweet. Avoid.

First time using this restaurant for takeaway ordered via just eat. Was about late put that down to people ordering because of the football. Lamb and chicken curries tasteless looked like the chicken came of a tin sauce was non existence. Egg fried rice all rice no egg. Chicken rice no chicken to speak of. Order chicken noodle disgusting. 35 pound down the drain

I have never eaten in the restaurant but we order takeaway from here every now and then and food has always been good. Tonight we ordered through Just Eat, we ordered at 6.30 and delivery was estimated at about an hour. By 7.50 food still hadn't arrived. I called the restaurant and the lady was very apologetic and explained that they only have one delivery driver but Just Eat continue to let people order knowing the restaurant will be backed up. She asked us to give her 20 mins and our food would be with us and it was. Other than tonight, every time we have had food from here its been the same male delivery driver. Tonight, was a female driver and I think it may of been the lady I spoke to on the phone. They went out of their way to get our food to us which was really nice. Food was hot and tasty as always. I just feel very sorry for the staff being overrun like that. Will order again but will order straight from Fu Hao rather than Just Eat.
