have only had coffee and cake here whilst browsing the bookshop and wanting a quick rest. Loyalty points system a good idea and in line with other high street cafes. View all feedback.
What nualaeley2019 doesn't like about Cafe W:
This Waterstones store is quite small, so it doesn't have a large selection of books. I couldn't find the book I was looking for. After purchasing a book from the display table, I noticed that it had a rip at the back. The prices were not cheap either. It would be good to see the staff taking better care of the books they sell to customers. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience. View all feedback.
I often stop by for a cup of tea and a teacake at this great place. They have a wonderful selection of books and the staff is fab and friendly, always willing to go above and beyond for their customers.

I absolutely adore the combination of the bookstore and cafe. The employees are incredibly friendly and supportive. The overall vibe is peaceful and uplifting. I appreciate being able to easily set up my laptop and get some work done. It's great that they offer reward stamps for both book purchases and hot beverages!
Great coffee, nice location looking into the town square. Barista was very cheery and kind. Carrot cake was good and were allowed to take it home in a bag. Bloke behind the counter was great, excellent services
A nice, small, dog friendly cafe : makes a change from the usual coffee shop chains around. By far my favourite thing about it though, is the vegan cupcakes they have daily, they are so good.
