This charming little pub in Welwyn Garden City is located not far from the Kricket Club and The Big Small Place. The staff are welcoming, creating a friendly atmosphere. Re Review below from Georgi Wood. I am manager of the Hedgehog and was serving at the time when this lady TRICKED ME in to serving a minor. I asked if her daughter had ID, to which she replied She 's not drinking. I informed her that I could see her holding a pint, to which she replied She 's just holding it for a photo. She then proceeded to order a Malibu and lemonade and a lemonade and her daughter was caught in the toilet, throwing away the lemonade. When asked to leave she created a huge commotion as well as damaging our property and subsequently barred. She even told us that she has a photo to prove we serve minors. The photo of her daughter holding a pint. This review is simply sour grapes and has been reported several times by our regulars.

I had an excellent evening watching the game and enjoyed the best pint of Guinness I've had in a long time. It was definitely worth the visit. Great job, everyone!
This is an incredible pub with a fantastic atmosphere and attentive staff. It's a true representation of what a pub should be, offering an excellent selection of beers. During the pandemic, they have gone above and beyond to ensure customer safety. I highly recommend this place!
This is a lovely pub that embodies the true essence of what a pub should be. There are no extravagant meals, just good beer and a bag of nuts.
