Impressed with the staff from the cashier to the food workers!!! Friendly, nice social. Told cashier abt a price came and showed me. The food worker did my steak burrito pretty quick and efficient. Close to work. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Maverik Adventure's First Stop:
HORRIBLE PLACE!! Clean facility but NASTY HATEFUL PEOPLE!!! Run fast and far before ever coming anywhere near here!!!! Save yourself the aggravation!!!! There?s one in Brigham city WAY BETTER!!!!! Wish I could give negative stars!! Their grill is a nasty joke! Management and staff ignores customers as they nearly beg to buy their products, clerk informs them well that?s too bad ain?t it!! There's always a Maverik close by! Their Coke and Mountain dew freezes are our favorite.
The self-checkout machines are NOT asking customers for receipts! This needs to be fixed. Many truck drivers, Uber drivers, and individuals in other professions require receipts for their expense reports. Having receipts also helps us appear less suspicious when leaving the store.
However, one interaction with an employee definitely put a damper on my experience, preventing me from giving a five-star review. I didn't catch his name, but he was the guy wearing a khaki green shirt with "powdered donuts for powder days" on it. It was clear he wasn't enjoying his job. When I struggled to use the self-checkout drink menu, he seemed irritated that he had to ring up my single item. My Google Pay wouldn’t work on his finicky machine, and instead of being helpful, he lectured me about not having other physical cards on my phone, despite my never having had issues before. To top it off, he actually scoffed at my reluctance to listen to his rant. He might be better suited for a job away from customer interaction.
Whenever the general manager works the night shift the coffee machines are never cleaned! Somehow they don't have the cleaning tablets for him to do his job the right way! I thought maverik was a convenience store, well I'm here to tell you that this is not convenient in any way shape or form! I came to get fresh great tasting coffee which I know your machine is capable of doing when cleaned properly! P.S. Maverik have you started working on the training video for your coffee machines? It would be nice if all your employees knew how to clean it! Please like this review if you feel that the quality of the coffee drops when the machine needs cleaning.
The air machine is still out of order. I wouldn't recommend stopping here to inflate your tires.
