Nice. Interior is elegant and great contemporary but conscious of the history of the building. Sweet service from a young lady ..keen and accurate. We felt the place was rather let down by a scruffily dressed older waiter devoid of charm or smiles who looked like he would rather be somewhere else. Seven of us had the most wonderful lunch here a week ago. The manager and the staff were super nice and made us feel very welcome. The polenta starter was just delicious and the seafood spaghetti was so tasty! The sticky toffee pudding was sublime. Thanks for an unforgettable experience

Last week, a group of seven of us had an amazing lunch at this restaurant. The manager and staff were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We loved the polenta starter and the seafood spaghetti was delicious. The sticky toffee pudding was absolutely divine. Thank you for a memorable experience.
Lovely restaurant with great staff. Food is tasty and good value
Lovely atmosphere, and very well designed. The staff were surprisingly warm and attentive (I did think it would be a little too posh) and went really looked after us. The starters were incredible and the mains very good. Would recommend if you're in area.

Good food , great service and a very nice restaurant. Very clean and not overcrowded with too many tables crammed in . A really nice dining experience.

It was difficult to decide what to have as every dish that passed our table looked delicious. I opted for the pasta main course which was delicious, perfectly seasoned. The staff were great.

A very nice menu, the cod was very fresh, with absolutely delicious chips. Personally the mayonnaise was too strong to be served on the plate, I would have appreciated being told, then I could have asked for it on the side. My husband’s steak was very well cooked, attention to detail was second to none. It was a little thin which meant it wasn’t perfect. Again served with delicious chips. We chose an expensive wine as we were celebrating, however it didn’t live up to expectations, it didn’t have the complexity you’d expect at that price. Overall, the restaurant is lovely, a very good experience overall, We will definitely return, and recommend.

The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the wine was perfect. Only on the bottom it felt a bit calm when we arrived, but it soon took up and added to the atmosphere! Will 100% back
Definitely the best place to eat in Wells. We have gone there since it opened and always had excellent food and service. Excellent value and Simon is the ideal host and Nina is the perfect waitress. I had the shrimp Linguini, which was tasty was the only problem is what to try as every dish immediately becomes my favorite. If I lived in Wells, I'd probably be there every day they're open.
Quality food at a reasonable price. Service very good and personal. Loved the food! Have dined here a number of times with clients and family and will definitely return!

Great little restaurant right in the middle of town! I had bruschetta which was fab my husband had venison terrine. For mains we had duck breast in a bean cassoulet which was equally as good! A cheese board followed with generous portionss of cheese. Overall excellent food with excellent service!!
