Have been twice now after a recommendation and so happy we did. Food was great, home made and reasonable. Service was second to none and the venue/location is awesome. View all feedback.

After reading the reviews, my family and I decided to take a Sunday trip for lunch. After a scenic 45-minute drive, we arrived at the restaurant, but stood there for 5 minutes without being acknowledged by the few employees who saw us. We didn't expect to be seated immediately, but the lack of attention made us decide to go elsewhere for lunch. The area was beautiful, but the lack of customer service was disappointin... A great place to stop for a casual lunch in a beautiful location. You'll often see kangaroos around some of which are quite tame. A great family place.

We have heard about this restaurant and finally ventured to it. It is cosy and looks just like the pictures. Homely food, relaxing and friendly atmosphere and great walks across the road at the discovery trail. Worth bypassing the breweries and wineries to get to it. Just around the corner ...almost from Gnomesville.
I couldn't believe it had been almost 12 months since we last visited, what were we thinking. Rather than coming straight up from Dardanup, we went via Wellington Dam, what a drive, loved it. Got to Wellington Food and Wine and they had a table reserved right next to the fire, fabulous. We just grazed on a few smaller plates and left filled to the brim. A top selection of wines and even ciders, food and cakes. Highly recommend it here as a great place to take a drive and kick back. Promise next time it will be shorter between visits.
We have long wanted to investigate Ferguson valley so we decided to go via Coalfields Highway, cross by Wellington Dam and be here by morning tea. The friendly folks were restoring everything after their Christmas In July the previous night. It is located in a quiet valley beside cottages. Our progress into the restaurant didn't disturb the kangaroos lying on the lawn. It was lovely to sit by the log fire while we enjoyed our coffee and scone. We will revisit for sure as the folks are very welcoming.
