I was truly impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the preparation at this restaurant. They offer New Zealand-inspired fusion dishes. We tried the octopus tacos, beef fat potatoes, Wakanui steak balvette, prime sirloin, and lamb neck massaman. The service was outstanding as well.
This restaurant boasts an excellent wine selection, delicious dishes, and attentive service. I highly recommend trying the satay beef, lime popcorn, and raw fish curry. The pork dumplings are absolutely phenomenal!
We've visited this restaurant several times in the past, but I felt compelled to write a review anyway because the bone marrow starter was absolutely delicious. Their ever-changing menu is a delight to experience. The space is quite small, parking can be challenging, and making reservations can be a hassle, yet we still return. Even if the marrow isn't on the menu, the food is just that good. I especially enjoy sitting by the tall, narrow windows, looking down at the sidewalk.
