Shepherd - Wellington

Such delicious food and a wonderful team of people made for a great experience at this restaurant. We tried two starters, the venison and the custard, as well as two mains, the lamb and the fish. The venison was our favorite, it was so tasty. Both dishes were delicious, especially the venison paired with beetroot. We loved this restaurant and wish we lived in Wellington so we could come back regularly.

Eva Street is a great spot for brunch. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it was delicious. The bread was fresh, the chicken was tender, and the two sauces on the sandwich gave it a fantastic flavor. The chips were also tasty and crispy. The mimosa complimented the meal perfectly.

Eating at this restaurant was an absolute delight. I'm glad I did some research beforehand, otherwise I may not have been able to find this hidden gem. The ambiance, excellent service, and warm hospitality were all on display, and I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to experience such excellence. I visited for brunch and now wish I had the time and opportunity to come back for dinner. I tried the fried chicken and waffles as well as the award-winning artichoke caramel, and both dishes were outstanding. The thought put into the selection of ingredients and flavor combinations was evident. I appreciate that they source their ingredients locally and use seasonal produce. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Are here a few times and always enjoy the creative and surprising dishes in the offer (re fish wing! . this is the first time since they renovated and really enjoyed their Asian inspired menu. great service and atmosphere, the only light leaving was the dessert selection, but that was just a personal taste question. 4.5 stars.

Went today for 1030am booking for mothers day. Highly recommend. Excellent food, bottomless filter coffee with cream. we had the best service from Akira, New staff member. Answered all our questions, efficient and always smiling. Thank you. Great tasty food.
