Great taste. Visited with friends. We had chicken bao bun (9.50$ 2 pieces) char koay teow, char mee, Mee Goreng (18.50$ each) and lychee float 6.90$ and a ginger beer 5$ Total bill 93.0$ Chicken bao at 9.50$ for 2 pieces was expensive. Overall, Little Penang provided an excellent experience in terms of food, service, and atmosphere, all in a lovely CBD location.
I visited this restaurant on a weekday, and it was incredibly busy. Despite the crowds, the service was surprisingly fast, and I was able to eat quickly, which is impressive given the volume of customers. I tried the roti and some non-curry dishes, and they were both excellent. I really enjoyed my meal! They also offer traditional Malaysian kueh for dessert, which was a nice treat. Plus, they have Milo dinosaurs on the drink menu! It felt like I was in either New Zealand or Malaysia. I definitely plan to return!
Wonderful place to enjoy authentic Malaysian cuisine! The Hokkien Mee was fantastic—deliciously rich broth full of flavor and spice. The atmosphere reminded me of my high school cafeteria, which wasn’t ideal. However, their pandan desserts were incredibly addictive!
Fantastic service and good food! the best stretches outside of malaysia comparable to those on guerney drive. very recommended and will be again every time we visit wellington.
Extremely delicious food, surprisingly prompt service, and a good range of gluten free options, I plan on visiting again whenever I'm back in Wellington. Well worth the five stars
