I almost wish I enjoyed meat... read more I'm really excited about my new local spot! They have an excellent selection of craft beer and wine, along with really hearty food. I almost wish I enjoyed meat because the brunch menu is fantastic, but there are plenty of vegetarian options as well; the veggie burger is incredible and can be made vegan. My boyfriend is a big fan of the gaucho burger. The outdoor area is really nice, and they have a lot of board games available, making it a great place to relax under the heaters outside or by the fire indoors on chilly winter nights. The staff are exceptionally friendly, and they even remember our drink orders, pouring them for us as soon as we walk in. Love it! Go Newtown!

The halloumi salad, featuring fried kidney beans and a delightful dressing, was a highlight as well. I ordered Brazil's national dish, which consists of slow-cooked black beans, pork hock, beef, and sausage (possibly chorizo), served with rice. The flavors were wonderfully balanced and authentic. The service was friendly, and the staff had excellent knowledge of the beer selection. They offer 11 craft beers on tap that rotate regularly. I tried a West Coast IPA, which I really enjoyed. I highly recommend this place as a great all-around venue.
