Great beef noodle soup, thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a lot of meat in the soup and it was a good portion to fill you up. They also provide spices for you to choose from to the soup if you need to. View all feedback.

The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the black pepper beef, Hawn fried rice, and brewed spring rolls. Everything came out in just five minutes and tasted amazing. The prices were also very reasonable. We returned the next night to try more dishes, and they were fantastic once again. The service was even faster this time!
Aroy Thai never fails to impress me. This location in Wellington is even better than the one in Sylvia Park (Auckland). It's a great choice, and I highly recommend it.
Best food in wellington hands down, we've been coming here regularly for a long time. the lady who served me tonight on 31/5 was amazing, so helpful and friendly. You made mine honest at night. not sure of their name, but many thanks again! people rock x

It's worth noting that the restaurant is set up as a counter service— you place your order and pay before finding a seat. While the space is relatively small, the tables are arranged comfortably, so you don’t feel cramped. Dishes are brought out as they’re prepared, rather than all at once, but we didn't have to wait long between servings. I opted for the beef massaman curry, and it was incredibly flavorful. Normally, I leave some rice or sauce behind, but this time I finished everything—perhaps I was just extra hungry after working out. Interestingly, the beef was sliced instead of cubed, which was a first for me. It was a bit tough but still enjoyable. My colleagues ordered various rice dishes, and their portions looked even larger than what you’d typically see at a Thai restaurant back in Melbourne, especially for the same price in AUD. One last note: there are no bathrooms on the premises, with the nearest option located at the New World supermarket down the street.
