Aroha
4.3 / 5 (557 reviews)

Description

Nestled in the vibrant CBD food court, Aroha offers a promising array of vegan options, though experiences can vary. While some diners found the burgers uninspired and the portions small, others praised the refreshing power bowls, rich in flavor and variety, paired with enjoyable drinks like kombucha and shakes. The ambiance is pleasant, and the service attentive. Most agree that while Aroha's unique charm lies in customization and fresh ingredients, certain dishes might miss the mark on taste. Overall, it remains a solid choice for a quick, healthy meal amidst the hustle and bustle.

Good central location optimal for urban workers, good variety of food. I found there are many foods that seem good, but have strange taste, like the roasted vegets? Why, that could I be.

I aim to eat food. I could get a delicious bowl of food here and at the next visit in wellington I will come back here definitiw. I can't eat nuts and the personal was really helpful to let me know which dishes I could eat.

There’s definitely hope for our animals and our planet with vegan food this delicious. It’s a fantastic spot for lunch, offering a great variety of dishes. My only concern is that their prices seem to change with each visit. I hope they settle on a consistent pricing soon!

Vegetarians and Vegans rejoice, this place gives you real choice for lunch or dinner. No longer restricted by salads and cooked veges, this place provides burgers, stir frys and proper meals that are filling and most importantly delicious. Within the Press Hall food centre, this place establishes a refreshing alternative to other more regular options in the hall. The service is fast and efficient, the staff are friendly and there is allot of aroha that had gone into the dishes. The Smoky Seitan burger is fantastic with a bean curd based patty that is a great alternative to the usual beef patty. It is also packed with fresh vegetables which makes the burger very satisfying yet not stodgy at all. It 's quite possibly my new favourite place for lunch in Wellington and yes I am not vegetarian or vegan. Just 'Keep Calm and Eat Plant-Strong '.
