My favorite restaurant in all of Palm Beach County. All the food served at this restaurant is as fresh as it can be. I highly recommend it!
MY wife and I are new to So Florida so we are trying new places. Devine is close by and our Grandchildren are coming to visit. This place is perfect. Really good food for the adults and children. The causer salad was fresh and tasted home made, the steak with truffle butter and potato was thoroughly enjoyed. Happy Hour was extended for a $5 Cosmo and 2 for 1 house wine. Almond Joy dessert was just like the candy bar only cakier. The only negative was the Rosso Bucco was very overcooked. We are definitely going back.
We were excited to eat here because we have been here before and really enjoyed it. This time wasn't as good as the first time. The food was good but last time it was amazing, the service was good but we felt a little neglected for refills on drinks and stuff we needed throughout our meal. To be fair, we can be a little needy sometimes. The food was good, but the last time our calamari was so good we ordered a second batch. This time it was a little soggy and greasy. I ordered a market salad but I didn't like it as much as the wedge salad that I had the last time. It was dry. I might have liked it better if I had more dressing but I didn't see our server again before receiving my entree. My fillet was a little bit overcooked but it was close enough. It just wasn't as good as the last time for some reason. I was blown away by the dish the first time I tried it and couldn't wait to eat it again but it just wasn't the same. I'm not sure why, but it was still good. The scallops with butternut squash ravioli in brown butter sauce were delicious. Another reason we had to come back because they were so good the last time we were here. The beef stroganoff was another dish we had before but this time it looked sloppy and wasn't thoroughly mixed together. It still tasted great. I'm big on presentation though. Lastly, we mentioned that it was my birthday, but nothing special was done. I think offering something special for a birthday is something that most people would appreciate so I decided to include that in my review. It was an ok experience this time, as apposed to an exceptional experience the last time, but we will probably give it another try sometime.
The food here is generally quite good. We enjoyed the French onion soup, which had a delightful twist to it. The pistachio-crusted salmon was excellent as well. However, the short ribs were slightly overcooked and just tasted okay. One downside was the water that was served to us upon sitting down—it was warm and had an off taste, clearly unfiltered tap water. The waitress didn’t seem surprised or concerned about this. As a result, we ended up purchasing a $7 bottle of Acqua Panna to accompany our meal. Next time, I think I’ll bring a $3 bottle of Fiji water and simply ask for a couple of empty glasses.
