The food is good, but the service is frustratingly slow and lacking. I've visited this restaurant several times, and unfortunately, I've come to expect this level of service. On this occasion, my meal arrived incorrect, and since our server didn't come back to check on us, I ended up having to eat it because I didn't want to go hungry. My husband's hot sandwich was cold in the middle, and he didn't receive a drink re... View all feedback.
What Angelo Hoeger doesn't like about Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen:
that's my first time. it was a Friday night and a lot of space without waiting time. the server was nice, but it was his first day in the job so I can't say much of it. he was thinking well. the drinks had taste and looked great, but there was no alcohol. I couldn't taste or feel anything! two beers would have moved me more than those pretty drinks. I'd let kids drink. that was okay. I think the chicken pancake of ma... View all feedback.

I think the chicken pancake of marie callender is equivalent or better than its. house salad was basic with fresh salat and the chicken and garnel was good. it is a good place to go only for a quick meal. I'm not bringing a first date here. maybe a second date when they try to lose them.
Went here to use a gift card. It's very close to my house but I'm not a fan of this place. The quality of the food is always subpar as well as the cheap drinks. The drinks are pretty to look at but lack any alcohol whatsoever. Taste like juice really. We had queso and chips with salsa for an appetizer. The queso was nice and warm as were the chips. I had the grilled chicken on rice with two sides, I chose the broccoli and mashed potatoes to accompany. The serving of chicken was very small, and came with 4 grilled shrimp which was tasty. The mashed potatoes did not have any flavor. Also sampled the chicken pot pie, I generally do not like this dish and theirs was not the best. Costco's very is definitely better. The service was great out waiter was attentive and sweet, it was his first day. Not a place I would consider going to unless forced.
Fresh food? Good portions. Friendly servers. Extensive menu. Found it after the home show at the fairgrounds good find!!
I never knew cheddars food was so good!!! The customer service was great from the get go. We felt welcomed and the lighting was cozy. It seems great for family and for small groups. There were maybe 2 or 3 families having birthdays and they sat us to the side where they had booths and it felt cozy and kinda private. We were served by Andrew and to say he was good is an understatement. He had great recommendations and always checked up on us. He recommended the steak and salmon so; we had the steak and salmon. The prices was good and the taste was even better. Also get the Mac and cheese . You are going to want the Mac and cheese and you are going to love the Mac and cheese.
As far as chain restaurants go for American-style food, I think this place is the best. There's a lot of different options and everything is tasty. I like that they have different wide options other than some sort of potato (in talking to you, broccoli casserole the service was a little slow, but I guess that's the norm at most restaurants now. Will be back!
