We visited the restaurant with the second and third grade softball team right after their first game. The two staff members did an excellent job taking everyone's orders and serving them quickly. I can't praise the staff enough; they handled a group of girls who kept changing their orders with ease. I highly recommend this place. It was clean and well-maintained, just like always. What D M dislikes about J.p. Licks:
The WORST is JP Licks is in Wellesley. STOP giving us the he wrong flavor! Charging $5 for a small cup is also ridiculous, especially when you habitually dispense the wrong flavor and the amount is super-small...about 1/2 a measuring cupful. Additionally, I noticed them using the same spoon to scoop different flavors of ice cream, which is a health risk for people with allergies. Do better, J.P. licks. View all feedback.
Wow! I absolutely love this place! They have a fantastic selection and the ice cream is delicious. I make sure to stop by every time I'm in the neighborhood.

I experienced a rather lengthy wait for ice cream that was overpriced and only mediocre in quality.

Service was really poor. The girl that served us was rude shaking her head when we hesitated on the toping and slapping the cup on the counter. The ice cream is quite comparable to what you'd get at Stop&shop. So, save yourself attitude and money, you'll get an entire bucket of ice cream for the price of 1 scoop by going to your local grocery!
