Description

**J.P. Licks: A Mixed Scoop of Experiences**

J.P. Licks in Wellesley offers a varied ice cream experience, with patrons highlighting both delightful and disappointing elements. Guests rave about the delicious flavors, like mint cookies and cream and gluten-free options, along with a charming atmosphere and friendly staff. However, challenges arise with inconsistent service and hygiene concerns, such as using the same scoop for different flavors, which raises health risks. Pricing has garnered mixed reviews, with some finding it steep for smaller servings. While some customers leave satisfied, others vow to avoid return visits due to unwelcoming attitudes. The ice cream, however, remains a tantalizing draw.

Wow! I absolutely love this place! They have a fantastic selection and the ice cream is delicious. I make sure to stop by every time I'm in the neighborhood.

We visited the restaurant with the second and third grade softball team right after their first game. The two staff members did an excellent job taking everyone's orders and serving them quickly. I can't praise the staff enough; they handled a group of girls who kept changing their orders with ease. I highly recommend this place. It was clean and well-maintained, just like always.

I experienced a rather lengthy wait for ice cream that was overpriced and only mediocre in quality.

Service was really poor. The girl that served us was rude shaking her head when we hesitated on the toping and slapping the cup on the counter. The ice cream is quite comparable to what you'd get at Stop&shop. So, save yourself attitude and money, you'll get an entire bucket of ice cream for the price of 1 scoop by going to your local grocery!
