Kawanhee Inn - Weld

First time. Very relaxed atmosphere. Great friendly, professional staff. Food was very good. Vegetarian options: Appetizers and entre options available. Parking: Broken up areas for parking, but sufficient.

You won’t be disappointed. The food here is Amazing and the service is Fantastic.

We stayed at the Kawanhee Inn when we were in Maine to drop our kids off at summer camp. We stayed in the Inn and ate at the restaurant for 3 nights. The rooms are comfortable, nicely decorated and extremely clean. The location on the lake is just stunning, and there's a great back porch to drink coffee in the morning or have a cocktail at night. Service is super friendly. The food at the restaurant is exceptional and I can't think of a nicer place to eat dinner than that screened in porch if we lived near by I would eat there once a week. The menu has a great range including some vegan dishes, and every single thing I ate (many things! was delicious. The cocktails are also excellent there's a great low key scene at the bar in the late afternoons/evening. If you are coming anywhere near this area, I highly recommend staying there or having dinner, it's really a special place.

The views from the porch are spectacular and complement the elevated dishes. The bleu cheese and bacon crusted steak is particularly delectable.
