Taschach Alm is a fun place to visit with or without kids. For young children there are animals to pet and lots of space to run around. For grown-ups the mountain cheese produced on the premises is a great find. The owners of Taschach Alm give the place a friendly atmosphere--one can feel that they are fully invested in the place! Go visit!
This is a real nice place to visit not only for hikers. It is reachable easily from the valley, and has some unique features: it is an active farm (with about 40 Mill Cord) that provide the milk for the that is produced by the Alm (Sennerei), the bunny "petting zoo", and the location at the base of several hiking trails. A nice feature of the Alm is that it serves as a rustic bed and breakfast. The cheese and local meats are being sold by the Alm. What also sets the place apart from other places in town is the excellent service--with great local banter ("there's two things you can't trust in Tirole--politicians and the weather forecast"). Two thumbs up for Taschach Alm!
