The restaurant was fairly busy, the food Italian. Pizza and pasta. Had the tomato salad to start which was pretty good, large portion. Tom a while for the black pepper, oil and balsamic vinegar to arrive though. I followed this with the lasagne which was slightly burnt on top and nothing special. The food is reasonably priced. The above plus a beer cost me just over 18 EUR.

The pizzas were quite OK really and I can appreciate that we could order a small portion for our daughter. However, my scampi salad, one of the most pricey dishes on the menu was below standards: lettuce gone wilted, dried out cucumber and tomato slices. I felt I got one of the left-overs from the previous shift. I only send back a plate once every 5 years or so, but I really didn´t see the point of eating a salad gone bad. Fresh salad, tomatos etc were prepared, however, the scampis were clearly re-heated in the microwave and had gone soft. I even suspect that they were rinsed as the original sauce had suddenly disappeared and was replaced by vinegar. A minor point was that the paprika stripes on the pizza were clearly from glass as well instead of freshly cut. I don´t expect haute-cuisine when visiting a pizzeria, and I´m prepared to overlook average service but I do expect fresh food.
