The price is a little higher than normal, which avoids you to come back whenever you want, but it is a good place for a romantic night with good food.

Place is nice close to railways and good parking place available . Furniture and enteriour is decent not to modern but stylish. Staff open minded willing to support and helpful, try make you feel comfortable. Food service is in good time not too long waiting. Food is good and nice portion. On a business trip is ok to try. On holiday for longer days I would not be sure...

Upon discovering that one of the Nestle Ice Tea soft drinks had precipitated into a kind of goo (that 's the best I can really do on this), the waiter wasn 't at all apologetic and didn 't even bother to attempt to save the situation, offer it for free or otherwise try to handle this. His attitude was very much this isn 't my problem . Food is OK, but in this case the service made me think about whether I want to come back.

I was recently in Wil with my husband, tagg... read more Great restaurant at our hotel. Hotel food isn 't always the best... at least in the US. Swan 21 is very good though. I was recently in Wil with my husband, tagging along on a business trip. We stayed at the Hotel Schwanen and ended up eating at the Swan 21 for dinner on my birthday. I ordered filet with veggies and it was excellent. Tender and cooked perfectly medium rare. It 's nice that in Switzerland medium rare means what it means here. (Spain and France, not so much! Swan 21 has a lovely wine list too. I had heard before going to Switzerland that the food and wine were not great, but I have to say that I had very good food and wine. Expensive might not begin to describe the cost of eating and drinking in Switzerland, but it was all very good.
