Hauptgang: XXL-Spiess mit Schweine- und Rindfleisch: Rind war trocken und zu fest durch, Schwein war gut. das lang gelagerte Entrecote war wiedee gut. Für das zähe Fleisch gab es einen Kaffee aufs Haus.

War ok.In wie weit mann Pferdesteak anbieten muss sei dahingestellt, da gibt es Sicherlich besserer Alternativen.Schweitzer Preisniveau!! Vielleicht ein wenig zu hoch für das was geboten wir.

I was recently in Wil with my husband, tagg... read more Great restaurant at our hotel. Hotel food isn 't always the best... at least in the US. Swan 21 is very good though. I was recently in Wil with my husband, tagging along on a business trip. We stayed at the Hotel Schwanen and ended up eating at the Swan 21 for dinner on my birthday. I ordered filet with veggies and it was excellent. Tender and cooked perfectly medium rare. It 's nice that in Switzerland medium rare means what it means here. (Spain and France, not so much! Swan 21 has a lovely wine list too. I had heard before going to Switzerland that the food and wine were not great, but I have to say that I had very good food and wine. Expensive might not begin to describe the cost of eating and drinking in Switzerland, but it was all very good.
