Stauwehr is a bit hidden from everything else. You need a car or a bike. It is a perfect place to visit after or during a bike ride along the Rhein to stop by for a beer or coffee. The price is reasonable. It is a bit inflated since it is so close to Basel and there are my Swiss visited this place. The service is fairly good and fast. Negative aspect is it is a bit too far. Great! Homemade cake was very delicious. Service was very friendly. The Wirtin even gave our little son a Glace “because he is so sweet” .
