It too... read more Since there are no notable restaurants in the area, this place has relatively no competition. This unfortunately affects the service, speed, and quality. It took 10 minutes for the waiter to arrive. Then we had a menu. 10 minutes later, our order was taken, for which we then waited an hour. The salad bar consisted of canned vegetables, dry cucumbers, and iceberg lettuce—anything but good. When the hot food finally arrived, the evening was completely ruined. The fried potatoes were dripping with old fat, the meat was tough, and the sauce was convenience food. And all this at prices well over €20 per meal. It's clear that there's nothing else available locally. But it's also clear that with a little goodwill, things could be done much better. We won't be coming back; we prefer to cook ourselves.

I also witnessed very unhygienic work practices, and some of the food used was no longer fresh. Guests should be cautious, as many things here are not as they appear. They use moldy food that's long past its expiration date; the cook is so unhygienic, don't be fooled.

We ordered a fish platter with vegetables and fried potatoes and vegan savoy cabbage rolls with potatoes and salad from the buffet. For dessert, we had two slices of apple pie. The price, including two soft drinks and a cappuccino, was €64. Perfectly reasonable. The food was beautifully presented and tasted good. The portions, and the cake, were good. The salad selection wasn't anything special. This could also be due to the season not having fully begun yet. For the peak season, I would have preferred more selection and filled dressing bowls. The waitress was very friendly, but she was the only one serving that evening. We noticed that it took a very long time for the tables to be cleared, even though the guests had already left the restaurant for well over an hour. The tables in the restaurant were far from full. We were also not asked if we would like anything else to drink or anything similar. For us, this is part of attentive service. Overall, we were satisfied and would come back for the food anytime.
