Applebee's Grill - Webster
Applebee's Grill
Description
This restaurant embodies the duality of dining experiences, with some patrons praising attentive staff and enjoyable meals, while others report frustrating service and inconsistent food quality. Cravings for appetizers like the spinach artichoke dip persist, despite concerns about rising prices and cold dishes. Customer service varies significantly; issues like prolonged wait times and unresponsive management have left some guests disappointed. Conversely, dedicated employees efficiently managed busy shifts, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere during peak times. Ultimately, the restaurant can deliver memorable moments, but its success hinges on timing and staff performance, making it a gamble for diners.

I was able to reach customer service within a day or so, and I also had the pleasure of speaking to the manager at this particular Applebee's location, who was fantastic! We received a refund for our order, so this review is solely based on the experience of receiving the food. Although I have always had a great experience dining in at this restaurant, tonight was a different story. It was our first and last time ordering takeout from here. We arrived shortly after placing our order, parked, and let them know we were there, but after 10 minutes, no one came out to assist us. After flagging down a staff member, they took our order name and went inside, leaving us waiting for a total of 35 minutes. When we finally decided to go inside, we found our order sitting on a rack, untouched. The staff member went to retrieve it, but unfortunately, our salads had been left out for so long that they were inedible. This was quite disappointing, especially considering the wonderful service we have received inside the restaurant in the past.
"Oh my goodness, Server Nicole and Ryan were fantastic! Bartender Patty was amazing too. We will definitely be having a sister/daughter date at this restaurant once a month."
It really depends on when you go, how my experience will be. I went to lunch and had terrible service, but the times when I went to dinner I was treated like a person, service is fabulous, my meal is warm and edible. While I prefer Uno's (what I call the big boy Applebee's lol) this place is not really that bad.
After many visits, I finally received hot food for the first time. Overall, everything was good, but the hamburgers were overcooked. The $5 drinks were excessively sweet, almost painful to drink because of how sugary they were.
