The sirloin was an excellent cut, cooked to a perfect medium rare. The Cajun shrimp were absolutely delicious—some of the best shrimp I've ever had in a restaurant, if I do say so myself. The short ribs were delightful as well. The garlic potatoes and accompanying bread were also very good. The service was excellent. The only drawback was the ambiance, but the fantastic food and service more than made up for it.

The decor in the dining area is a bit more upscale, but the place still maintains a comfortable bar vibe. The beer selection is solid, and the prices are reasonable. The new restrooms are spacious and clean, although the men's room doesn't have a door—it's accessible via a ramp and located around a corner. The improved stage setup allows bands to connect better with the audience and the main bar area. I glanced at the menu, and it looked appealing, so I plan to dine there on my next visit. The bar staff were friendly, and the owner was welcoming to customers.
