This place feels like home, but with even better coffee and service! It's a fantastic spot for both work and leisure, and the Wi-Fi is dependable. The Butterbeer latte is absolutely the best. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. If you're in search of a coffee shop or a quick bite to eat, look no further. I really hate to share this gem, but I'm so glad I chose to drive past the chain cafes to... View all feedback.
What Ann Becker doesn't like about Webster Groves Garden Cafe:
Yesterday was my first visit. Loved the food, the order-takers the music and atmosphere; however, I was appalled at the behavior of two workers. An older woman from behind the counter (very rudely) told my friend she couldn't have her chair where it was and later, I witnessed a very rude man come in and shove the chair (3 times) of an elderly woman and push his way past her. Not a word of excuse me or anything. I was... View all feedback.
The exterior may not reveal it, but inside you'll find a charming, cozy English cottage atmosphere. The menu offers a wonderful selection at reasonable prices, and the service is excellent. While the baked goods are slightly firm and dry, they are still enjoyable. There are plenty of secluded areas to unwind, whether you're alone or with a group. This place is definitely worth a visit.
A visit to this restaurant for their exquisite pastries, bagels, and scones is a must. You won't be disappointed! They also offer outdoor patio dining, and occasionally you'll find live music to enjoy while you eat.
I absolutely love this restaurant! The food and drinks are delicious, and the atmosphere is adorable. There’s plenty of space, so you don’t feel cramped, and they offer a lot of outdoor seating as well. Sometimes they host live music or other events, which is a nice touch. The decor is charming, and I've visited several times, with plans to return. The croissant sandwiches are fantastic, and their lattes are perfectly made!
My girlfriend and I frequent this establishment and always enjoy our time here. We are so grateful to find an establishments that values local music, art, and community. The owner and staff are always so kind. I was very impressed to see the owner washing dishes, making drinks, and serving customers alongside her staff. Overall great atmosphere and good vibes.
I’m new to Webster Groves and have been driving by and wanting to visit this cafe. My family stopped in for breakfast and coffee this morning and loved the vibe. The coffee and pastries were delicious. The workers at the counter were very kind and pleasant. However, we observed several interactions with one employee (apparently the owner) and other customers. She was very rude! When we got up to leave we assumed they cleaned the tables off (first timers here). From where we were sitting we saw no place to put dishes. While we were getting into the car- another new customer came up to us and told us that the owner said “ well I guess those people are too good to bus their own tables”. This was also her first time at the cafe and she informed us that after that interaction she will never be back. You have a cute shop with a great vibe, but YOU, ma’am, sucked all the good energy out of it!! So sad! As a owner you should be making your guests feel welcome. After reading some of the comments on here, it’s clear that this has been an ongoing issue with you. I think you need to work on your customer service skills.
