This is the best bakery around!! Their buns are so delicious. I have tried several bakeries that sell similar products but none compare to them. Totally worth checking out! The other reviews surprise me, I’ve been coming here for years and have never had an issue. View all feedback.
What Ken Adams doesn't like about Tung Hing Bakery And:
This used to be a great place for freshly baked pastries. The quality has gone down hill. Coconut bun has hardly any coconut in it, and it doesn't look fresh at all. I'm not surprised if they resell it the following day. This was a must go places for years. Thought I step into the store to give it another try, and boy, I was right why I stopped going. Stay away from the BBQ Pork Bun I bit into it and had strong odor of foul smell meat . It was definitely expired pork. And you could even smell it too it was that strong. So much better options out there for best fresh buns go to Happy Cake House Bakery on Hurontario
This bakery is one of the only Chinese ones in the area I live, this I would frequently visit. I bought their BBQ pork bun and it ended up giving me food poisoning. I’ve been sick throughout night. It was the only thing that I ate different from my family. The buns were lacking freshness and flavour. Filling was not good. I threw out the rest of my purchases, it’s sad but unfortunately, I will no longer be purchasing from here. Be careful.
Tung hing is a staple at the Mississauga Dundas St. Chinese Centre. Pleasant staff and a good selection of bakery items including frozen DimSum products
The original location has moved down a few shops to a smaller location. They now serve frozen dim sum too!
Very sweet owner that takes attention into detail about the food made here, their vietmanse subs are a bang and a good healthy alternative to fake subway
