Vegetarian options: There’s mainly just one choice available since most of the broths are made with bone broth. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is quite small and cramped, making it very challenging for anyone using a wheelchair.
The waitlist was long, but I only had to wait 15 minutes! The service was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious, although the dish I chose (Y2) was a bit too salty for my taste. I appreciated being able to swap items (I replaced pork with chicken), which was very convenient. I will definitely be back!
The food was delicious and reasonably priced, with generous portions. The service was friendly and efficient. We visited on a holiday, so it was quite busy, but we didn't have to wait long at all. We've finally found our go-to ramen spot!
My son chose katsudon, while my daughter and I shared an extra-large shoyu ramen, and my wife ordered the katsukare. The shoyu ramen's broth was a bit lighter than we expected, but still quite delicious. My son thoroughly enjoyed his katsudon, and my wife was happy with her dish as well, although each of our meals differed slightly from what we remembered having in Japan. The restaurant has a selection of Japanese shows playing on the TV, which kept my kids entertained. Unfortunately, the experience was somewhat marred when the manager became visibly upset and yelled at the staff, disrupting the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. To top it off, we were given the wrong bill when it was time to settle up. Kid-Friendliness: The anime on the screens is a nice touch for families.
I genuinely LOVE supporting local businesses, even if it means no tables are available. In fact, we waited over an hour for a table at another restaurant in the city on the same day we ordered from here. So, I have nothing but positive things to say about this experience, and we’re looking forward to better coordinating our schedules so we can dine in, even if it means waiting!
