Our room was nice, but the carpet was threadbare in a couple of places. The bathroom was spacious but there was no hot water !!! The shower was ancient and needs replacing right away. What's wrong with a simple electric one ? Could have done with a couple of hooks or rails to hang towels. The light over the mirror didn't work. However, on the plus side, the Sunday roast was lovely, breakfast was OK but some fruit and yogurt, and brown toast would have been nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were just passing through but ended up stopping a while as the dog was happy to run around the gardens bluebells and sunshine with no hastle . We had the Sunday carvery under the porch with our own outside heater although the decor in Amores restaurant was inviting. The Chef also fed the dog with generous meat portions. Friday nights are free supper so we are going again soon. Safety: Child friendly and pet friendly. A quiet location where you can have a conversation or do computer work in peace. Walkability: Its surounded by fields just one mile from Cuddington station and shops. Great tranquil location for dog walking and cycling . Food drinks: Theres a Sunday Carvery with generouse meat portions and a free Friday night supper for locals. The bar is large with luxery seating. There is also a separate venue for privatd parties.
