Our reservation at Mambo was not honored, and the hostesses were unfamiliar with the OpenTable system. The Sunday breakfast options were mediocre at best. However, the waitstaff made up for it by singing a cheerful birthday song while wearing a festive sombrero, which added a fun touch to the experience. Overall, it felt like an average meal, with a few highlights. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Rio Mambo Weatherford:
Made reservation on line requesting asecluded table if availabile. When arrived was told didn't have reservation, I said had made it online and they said iPad didn't work and something about people in bar was to check it. They put together a round table with a square table in middle of room , which is horrible for people trying to eat where tables meet. Service bad, too slow. Way too dark inside too. The music is entirely to loud came in for late lunch service and staff are great. But they tell me they CANNOT turn down music. This will limit my visits for sure. Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Enchiladas
Great atmosphere. Super fast service. Been twice in a week while visiting the area. Best blended Margaritas I have ever had. So smooth. But we would order a drink, 2-3 minutes and at the table. 10-15 minutes after ordering food and it hits the table. Active waiters that you never have to look for, but not nosey or pestering. Special shout out to Tanner, dude was rock solid. Great sense of humor, vast knowledge of the menu. If you got to get served, get Tanners section. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Brisket Nachos, Fajitas, Nachos Especial Beef Fajita
I ordered the Fajitas after the waitress praised their deliciousness and promised they would arrive sizzling hot. We all know that sizzling Fajitas come with an enticing aroma thanks to a little something called 'Sizzle Sauce,' a secret concoction squirted on the hot plate right before serving. Unfortunately, that was not the case here, as mine arrived with hardly a hint of sizzle. The waitress seemed a bit embarrassed, but it wasn't a huge issue. The Fajita meat was cut into large slices that needed to be chopped down into smaller pieces before fitting into the tortilla. Still, they were quite tasty, although the vegetables were somewhat undercooked, perhaps due to the lack of that signature Sizzle Sauce. Overall, it was one of my better experiences at Rio Mambo. I've now visited three of their locations in the DFW Weatherford area. Food: 3, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 5.
That said, the food and service were quite good, and we plan to return. However, if we're hoping to sit outside again, we might consider going somewhere else first. **Service:** Dine-in **Meal Type:** Dinner **Price per Person:** $10–20 **Food:** 4 **Service:** 4 **Atmosphere:** 4 **Features:** - Dine-in: Yes - Outdoor seating: No - Takeout: Yes - Curbside pickup: Yes
