Malt Shop - Weatherford

Hot, fresh made to order food, old fashion style burgers (the best style). Plenty of appetizers to choose from to cover everyone taste. Yummy ice cream, shakes/malts and funnel cake sticks finish off a delicious meal.

Heard about this place and driven by many times but today we took the plunge. We were not disappointed. You can order from the drive through but the wait can be long. We pulled up and parked so we could order from the window. The picnic tables are covered in writing which keep the kids busy looking for their names or interesting dates. No restroom available and everything is outside so waiting in the car is preferred unless you want to brave the elements. They call your order with a speaker.

We drove past this place on our way to Mineral Wells boy was it worth the stop! The burgers were amazing, thick cut fries the peanut butter malt was delicious! Very friendly staff as well. Will definitely make the trip out there again!

This restaurant is decent; while the burgers aren't the best I've ever had, the shakes and malts are fantastic! Just be ready to wait outside for your order for about 10 to 15 minutes.

What a fantastic experience! The Malt Shop reminds me of Taylor's Refresher, a charming roadside burger spot in St. Helena, Napa Valley. While the ambiance isn't exactly the same, it's definitely a gem along the journey from Fort Worth to Weatherford. Be sure to stop after leaving Weatherford, not before, to make your trip feel more like an adventure. And of course, you have to try a malt or shake! The staff may not be very attentive, so it's best to glance over the menu and place your order without asking too many questions. There are a few quaint shops down the road, so take some time to enjoy your malt there. The burger is tasty, but make sure to explore all the different malt flavors. You'll be so glad you made the trip to Weatherford!
