The Forge - Wealden
The Forge
Description
In a recent exploration of a local restaurant, diners experienced a mix of satisfaction and disappointment. While some praised the ample portions and friendly service, others were let down by the lack of authentic flavor and quality in their dishes. The Tex-Mex offerings seemed unremarkable and reminiscent of chain establishments rather than a unique culinary experience. However, the carvery received accolades for its delicious fare and generous servings. Service varied; some staff were attentive, while others appeared distracted. Overall, the restaurant offers potential but requires improvements in food authenticity and service consistency to encourage return visits.

Very average food i cook better at home. No effort was made to please. everything seemed too much trouble.service and atmosphere very bad.wont be returning
Not very authentic. I had a burrito but looked and taste like it was thrown together, no taste and the dips out of a jar. Will not be returning. Very disappointed. Oh and never was asked how our meal was!
We are just back from fillet steak at Buffalo Bills restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was great too from Kim and Killand, both went beyond expectations.
Very good and plentiful selection of three meats with generous helpings. Service can be slow for desserts but just chase them up. Well worth a visit to check out.
The place was pretty quiet, the young girl behind the bar and serving the food, was very nice and polite Food was quite nice but as my title states, not good enough to have us return, husbands steak was pretty tough. There was plenty of the food, you won´t go hungry but quality not great 7/10 the 4 of us scored it (Myself, my husband and 2 grandchildren 9 and 12) Not great value
