The staff at this restaurant were brilliant in adapting to a sudden dishwasher malfunction. Instead of a stressful situation, they turned it into a funny, friendly, and relaxed environment. Perfectly good place to stop for lunch on a 50 mile bike ride OK scenery nothing to write home about, but good coffee, paninis, and cake.

Just been into Costa coffee Polegate for a take out coffee. Discussed by the filthy state of the counter and coffee making area. Needs a good clean and sanitise. Even the staff look grubby and scruffy

I arrive at 11:35 with my partner for 2 hot chocolate, The service was outrageous. There was a man (bald, small and a little bit of a beard) running around trying to make drinks. One of your staff members was walking around on their phone! (Long brown hair and make up) while another was just standing their laughing! Absolutely awful service. Refused a refund for it and decided to leave. Will not be coming again. Doesn’t even deserve a star rating. Feel sorry for the man trying to do everything.
