I like that slaw and hush puppies are served immediately. Didn't have to argue whether it came with the meal, as I had towith another localestablishment. Needless to say I don't frequent them anymore. Nice staff and plenty of sweet tea. Price is more than expected but I don't blame them for having to absorb the governments stupidity... What Jack Hoeff doesn't like about Paw-paw's Country Catfish:
I know this restaurant has been there a long time but being a new customer I thought the catfish was horrible and wondered how it has existed for so long. There was barely any filet on the fish and it had no flavor. It was very bland. Felt like I was eating cardboard. And when I got the bill I was very surprise to how much the bill was. I assure you I won't be a returning customer. View all feedback.
Everything was delicious and the server was very attentive.
We have been to Paw Paw's many times and The food is always wonderful: There were 3 of us (on most recent visit) and we had the fried pickles as appetizer. We order steak po'boy, bacon cheeseburger and shrimp po'boy with fries. Yummy. The only problem was we were charged for 3 drinks, when 1 was water, at $2.99 that's some expensive tap water. That being said: I would recommend Paw Paw's to anyone, they have everything from burgers to seafood and a child's menu.
Love the food and the workers are awesome, we love papaw's!
Very good seafood oysters or spot on.Hush puppies were great. Waitress was outstanding and food came out quickly.
Was OK. I wouldn't write home about it. Wasn't bad but I feel could be better.
