Cook Out - Waynesboro

Inexpensive food nothing special about it. However I ordered a hamburger and paid extra for jalapeno peppers. What I got was bell peppers when I questioned the manager he swore up and down that they were jalapenos but I have been eating jalapenos andbell peppers for over 50 years and I know the difference. We wanted to give this place a try, and Im sad to say I wish we didnt! Im not one to leave bad reviews, butttt! The hotdog tasted like industrial cleaner, the dog was burnt and the bun was crusty old! The person taken the order I think was having abad day, along with the rest of the staff! I think the company should hand out snickers to their workers before they start theirshifts! I mean, I dont expect balloons and confetti when I pull up to the window, but at least a hello how are you today, yourwelcome...something!! Definitely will not be returning to this establishment!

Person taking my order just now was very rude and even said that she hates when people do bigger orders and the other lady told he to keep it down. Customers could hear her. She said it even louder and said that she didn?t care. I?ll find another place tospend my money.

The quesadillas were greasy, so I stopped getting those and switched to their mid-tier but not bad chicken tenders. Fries and cheese bites are to die for, and the most consistent food there. The sweet tea always tastes very sweet, and I love that, butthe one time I got a milkshake, there was a hair in it that I ended up accidentally slurping up through the straw. That wasdisgusting. So, three stars for good tea, cheese bites, and fries to combat the gross milkshakes and mid-tier food. Also, thecashiers make the shakes without hairnets, so that might be why I got a hair in mine.

Had to pay extra to get a half slice of tomato that is the thickness of my napkin! The lettuce looked like it had gone bad last week! The burgers looked like beef jerky! Talked this restaurant chain up to my wife wife cause I have eaten at them out of thearea with some of the freshest ingredients for hamburgers I have ever had, but I guess COVID scared yall out of serving good,quality food with good service like it has done to so many other big chains! And watched the guy at front counter go outside andsmoke a cigarette while he was playing on his phone right in front of door customers walk in; and then walk back to kitchen areawithout even thinking of washing his hands or using hand sanitizer!
