Amazing tea room. I took my wife and daughter here and we had a great time. The tea was delicious as well as the scones, soup and salad. Service was top notch. Wonderful experience.Food: 5/5 View all feedback.
What Melodie LV dislikes about High Societea:
My son and I went here twice before and enjoyed it. Tonight we had reservations for the Halloween Tarot Tea and our table was the only one that was forgotten to get the savories and dessert etc. I complained to waitress and found out kitchen was closed for the night. We left before the Tarot reading and told the owners what happened. She had the nerve to charge my son for tea, after the whole experience was ruined. S... View all feedback.
I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The service was attentive and friendly. I opted for the light tea, which came with two warm scones - a white chocolate cranberry and a caramel one, both served with clotted cream and lemon curd. They were absolutely delicious. The tea selections were also excellent; I had the vanilla raspberry and my friend chose the Feng shui, both of which were delightful. The light tea also came with a pot of tea of your choice, which was enough for several cups. Unfortunately, the quiche was not very good – it was rubbery, bland, and cold. I appreciated choosing the feta pear salad over the tomato basil soup, which my friends found to be grainy and overly acidic. The highlight of the experience was definitely the tea and scones, while the savory options were lacking. Despite this, I would still return for the enjoyable atmosphere.
I visit High Societea twice a month and always have a fantastic experience. Whether I'm enjoying scones and sandwiches with my friend or relaxing with a book and a cup of tea, the food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the changing seasonal decor adds to the charm of the place. It's difficult to find a great tea room outside of NYC, so I am grateful for this lovely spot.
We started my sister's bachelorette day here on Saturday. We were a group of 15 for Queen's Tea. Service was flawless and the place is adorable. Only thing is if you are vegan or have other dietary restrictions the options are extremely limited. If not, go and enjoy all the yummy treats they have to offer.
High SocieTea gives that perfect vintage tea house feel while also being able to maintain a clean environment. The place is very organic and you can tell it has a lot of passion put into it. That combined with the price and quality that you receive is a really good experience. FYI, it is more English tea than it is asian style. I did the Queen's tea set $37 per person) that came with tea, scones, savory and sweet. Benefit is that you can do a junior set and every single section is additive! There is a HUGE selection of teas. I highly recommend booking and checking their website as their whole menu is there. Scones are really delicious. The entire set is actually quite filling. You leave satisfied for sure. Service is great as they were happy to serve and provide ample explanations regarding the menu itself. The serving of tea can be steadier but the passion they have cannot be replicated! It is a heavy pot of tea Afterall. Main selling points are the experience and right now it's a semi-witch english tea environment which is great for the season! I say it is absolutely worth $37 dollars if you like the tea environment! Probably one of the best in North Jersey. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Carmel Scones
Came here with family during Thanksgiving weekend break, and we were so pleased with everything! Super cute, yet elegant, decor, and they had the CUTEST little shop. We all did the Queen's tea set that came with tea, scones, savory, and sweet snacks crumpits. There is a HUGE selection of teas that all sounded so delicious. I highly recommend booking in advance with a reservation to ensure your party's needs are met.
