The Dreamchaser's Brewery - Waxhaw

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of this fantastic brewery, which used to be a fire department, about a year ago. He and his team have been incredibly kind to my wife and me. Despite being from Gastonia, we have already made plans for a date night at Dream Chasers Brewery.

Showing up Friday evening and seems to be prime time like most breweries. Parking was limited but we got lucky and found a spot up front. Inside we were greeted by a friendly bartender. While looking at the beer board he came by and helped us with our choices. He gave us some info on the process of the different flavors. Out front was a food truck which I'll review separately. It's a really nice place and I'll return.

Had my first experience with DreamChasers Tuesday night for trivia night. Very entertaining evening. Now for the beer and the 2 star. I started with their yard IPA. It was not my taste. Not terrible but not something I'd order again. I decided to get their lager next. It was so bad, not sure if it was dirty lines or just the beer, but I went up and said I can not drinks this. It is not good. The bartender said ok.. you want to cash out? Then charged me full price for the beer I could not drink. Didn't care less that I had an issue with the beer. That being said great atmosphere, great location, but not planning on trying other beers.

Tasty house brewed beers and even a hard cider choice. Sometimes they have food trucks or fun events

Great beer. The IPA was one of the best I've had. We had a flight and all beers were good but the iPA was the best. Cool environment with garage doors. They had a food truck there as well. We will definitely be back.
