I have been to this restaurant about 50 times, and they have delivered exceptional food 95% of the time. The burgers are big and come with a side of pea salad, corn, and potato salad. The garlic bread is amazing and the pizzas are good as well. It's a great place to enjoy some cold beers, especially when they have live music. They keep the menu interesting with daily specials. I have had well over 100 pizzas from Score /timeout I purchased two more on Weds. They were burnt but edible. Little did I know topping s must have gone bad . Got very sick. What a shame. I hope this was just experience. I know prices have gone up and they changed some of the suppliers.Really hopeful this was just a experience of one bad time. My dad and I take a trip out to Lebo KS 2-3 times a year to take care of his hunting land. We are from Lexington, KY and I get so excited when it comes time for our trip to eat at the Time Out Tavern. I have literally gotten the Crab Rangoon Pizza every time and it’s the best thing ever. It’s always cooked to perfection and the waitress is the best. Thank you guys so much for the amazing food!! I recently moved to Waverley and was feeling sad because I was used to the delicious Fleemarktburger in Kansas City's Westport area. However, the burgers at Westport don't compare to the ones at Time Out Tavern. The pizza is also fantastic, and the desserts are a must-try. I was very pleased with the quality of the food, which was hot and fresh, and the friendly service.
Neat little place. We really enjoyed stopping in for a bite while out and about.

Just remember to pay with cash to avoid a 3% credit card fee. I wish they had a fryer, but the fries are still good without it. Amy is the best server.

It pains me to give this place such a low review like this. I know the people behind Tavern, and they are really nice people, and you'd always have a good time with them. But, unfortunately, I've always had mixed thoughts on this place every time I went over.Today, I decided to get a classic pepperoni pizza for dinner for me and my grandma. I specified to the cashier to put light cheese on the pizza because the last few times I've had pizza from here, there was just too much cheese for my liking. After a few minutes, I get the pizza, pay for it, and head back home.As soon as I opened the box, I knew I bought myself a one-way ticket to Dairy-ville because this pizza was LOADED with extra cheese (which, may I remind you, I asked for LIGHT cheese). Barely any pepperoni on the pizza, but I'm not gonna dock off a point for that because their pepperoni supply was low.As I took my first couple bites of the pizza, all I could taste was the mozzarella. I couldn't find the treasurous taste that was either the sauce, the pepperoni, or even the crust. All I could taste was the cheese. That's it.However, besides the pizza, there were a few times when I had some of their other items, such as their burgers and curly fries. Those are really good, though. Hats off to you, Tavern, for at least having a good burger and fry item.Again, it hurts me to give this place such a low review, but I'm gonna have to give Time-Out Tavern a 3/5. I can get why people enjoy eating at this place, but honestly, it's just not for me.
The food was delicious! The server could improve on their customer service skills, but overall it was a positive dining experience.

We had a 3-day event in Waverly, KS that was catered by the Timeout Tavern. The food, the service and the people we worked with were all Outstanding! I would highly recommend them as caterers for your event!
The food was tasty but a bit on the expensive side. It's a great spot to grab a sandwich and a beer.

My first time visit will definitely lead to more! The menu was filled with tasty options and even Kids/Seniors choices for smaller portions. Tonight’s special of hand-bread chicken fried steak, green beans seasoned with onion and bacon, yeast roll and baked potato sounded too good to pass up and it was! Friendly staff, good service (and they were busy) and delicious food made this a new favorite for me. The portions were enough for another meal.
