The food here was outstanding, and the staff was incredibly friendly, especially Vali. I will definitely return. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for something delicious and budget-friendly.

When my mom and I checked in, I mentioned that we were a party of five, but the lady at the entrance corrected me again, saying I should have specified it as four people and a highchair. Her tone was condescending, as if I were a child! As she led us to our table at the far end of the dining room, my mom was holding onto my arm for support due to her mobility issues. To make matters worse, the lady loudly announced to me (rather than my mom) that if she had known about my mother's condition, she would have seated us closer to the entrance. It was utterly embarrassing for my mom, who is perfectly capable. Soon, my sister and her toddler joined us, and we ordered drinks. My mom's latte arrived cold and had to be remade, which took quite a while. When we finally got our orders taken, my mom and sister, both vegetarians, wanted the carvery with the vegetable Wellington, which needed to be prepared in advance. We were told they'd inform us when it was ready. After some time, a waitress informed us that the vegetable Wellingtons were available, so we joined the queue. My mom struggled to navigate and managed to select a few vegetables before we were told she had taken someone else's Wellington, and my sister's wasn't ready yet. My sister, meanwhile, was holding her sleeping toddler! I was juggling my own carvery and then intended to help my sister, but it took over 20 minutes for her food to finally show up at the carvery. By that time, my mom had finished her meal, while mine had gone cold as I stood there waiting with my sister. Once we finally returned to our table, my sister found that her pastry was undercooked. All of this at a price of £26.50 per person! Additionally, they redid my sister's vegetables without giving her the option to keep her Yorkshire pudding. Overall, the food was mediocre; the potatoes were odd, and everything seemed rather bland. By the time we were offered desserts, the restaurant was nearly empty, and the staff were visibly impatient, checking their watches often. When our pudding arrived, it felt rushed. As soon as we finished, we were told we had five minutes left before the next seating, which was very stressful. I attempted to explain our delays, but the woman interrupted me and walked off—extremely rude! When it came time to pay, I was frustrated with both the food and service. I started to voice my concerns to the bar staff, and the carvery lady approached, claiming we had only waited a few seconds and were happy to wait. I tried to explain it had been nearly 20 minutes and that my sister's food was raw, but the bar staff cut me off, stating I was interrupting him! He was incredibly rude and dismissive. Feeling upset and insulted, I handed my sister my card and walked out. I have never been treated so poorly in a dining setting, and my mom and sister experienced rudeness even after I left. What an awful experience overall!

Twelve of us had lunch, and from start to finish, everything was excellent. Our waitress had a wonderful personality. The food was abundant and offered a great variety of options. We will definitely return.

We had not been for a while and thought we would drop in for lunch.we were greeted by a very nice and charming lady. Who described all the specials in great detail. Having looked through the extensive menu we decided on the specials. ie the beef bourguignon and the burger. The description far exceeded the meals, bourguignon was a small amount of beef in gravy on a bed of mashed potato and the burger was described with having a toasted bun, it wasn’t just a soggy pile with soggy chips. With 4 drinks £60.00.
