Description

Nestled in a bustling area, this pub offers an inviting atmosphere and friendly service, making it a popular choice for regulars. However, recent experiences reveal a mix of highs and lows. While the efficient QR code ordering system and warm staff like Rhys stand out, food quality has been inconsistent. Diners have encountered cold, overcooked breakfast items and tough steaks, tarnishing their experience. Despite these issues, patrons still appreciate the affordable menu and relaxed vibe, making it a decent spot for a quick bite. Overall, the pub remains a community favorite, though improvements in food quality are certainly needed.

This is one of the better Wetherspoon pubs, featuring a modern wine bar-like interior. It has a long, open layout and offers the usual selection of real ales, which are...

This Wetherspoons appears to be sticking closer to its original concept of offering good pubs without loud music. However, they have unfortunately compromised by adding some fruity options.

I could criticize this place all day long. It's cheap and there are usually seats available. Fortunately, Rhys is working today. He has only met me a couple of times. I look a mess after a motorbike accident, so I need to drink with a straw and can't handle too much ice. I had to order through the app because my legs hurt. I haven't been here in weeks. Today, I swapped my JD for Cognac and was so impressed when Rhys brought it over with two ice cubes and a straw. Little gestures like that mean a lot when you've been disabled, sleep-deprived, and in pain for two weeks.
